How does it work?
Tap to Improvise
Each tap triggers an AI model to generate the next musical note, fitting the song's vibe and rhythm. You control timing; the AI handles content. This creates a personal sonic experience: your rhythm becomes a live, evolving melody.
Tap to Navigate and Interact
Taps do more than build sound—they drive motion. A character on screen changes direction with each tap, navigating mazes and interacting with objects.
Depending on position and timing, notes can destroy barriers, move elements, transform shapes, freeze threats, or push obstacles. Rhythm turns functional: deliberate pauses for precision, rapid taps for evasion.
The Core Gameplay
An underlying song sets the base; your improvised melody overlays it while guiding the character through passages filled with traps, monsters, magics, collectibles, and challenges. The camera follows a default path tied to the song's structure, forcing adaptation—your personal melody must align enough to progress, yet allows deviation for strategy. Here, the AI turns your taps into a personal sonic experience, while the graphic layer adds the stakes. Navigating through the maze and interacting with the context, makes your rhythm strategic and functional.
Create Interactive Music
This dedicated tool lets you compose levels, where melody defines structure.
Start with a track, add a melodic layer, map it to a default motion path. This path structures the maze; synchronize animations, physics, and objects to it. Players then improvise against this reference, their taps generating unique melodies while traversing your world.
How does it work?
Start with a track and craft a guiding melody. Import the song.
Convert the predefined melody into a default motion path. This becomes the camera's automatic follow route and the level's core passage through the maze.
Build the environment—traps, objects, monsters, collectibles, transformations—along this path. Physics, animations, and interactions stay synchronized to the melody's timing.
Players take over. In the game, the camera follows your original path and melody as reference. Players improvise their own timing and notes—deviating, adapting, surviving—while still progressing through the world you defined. Their personal melody becomes the live soundtrack.
Project Status
The level-development software is complete and operational. Built in Unity and C#, it already contains the core gameplay engine used to design and run the demonstration levels shown on this site. The player movement, music synchronization, interactions, and other central gameplay systems are all functioning within this environment.
The current stage of development is focused on separating that gameplay engine from the level-development software. This requires refactoring the existing system into an independent runtime that can operate without the editor. That process is now approximately halfway complete.
Once the engine has been fully separated, it will be integrated into a dedicated mobile application. This will transform the existing working technology and demonstration levels into a standalone live-musical action game.
